I am looking for several part-time employees for the 2010 growing season.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.  No experience is necessary.
• Duties will primarily include harvesting, culling, cleaning, sorting, and packing produce for CSA members and farmers markets.  Occasional other tasks may include weeding, cultivating, planting, tending plants or chickens, assisting with selling at Wednesday or Saturday markets.
• Must be able to work a minimum of 7am-3pm Tuesdays and Fridays, early May through late August.  Additional days/hours may be available.  Work may begin in April and extend through October if you're available and the farm's workload demands it.  Tuesdays and Fridays are non-negotiable.
• On-farm housing is not provided.  You must provide your own transportation to and from the farm and/or markets on workdays. 
  
• Must be able to work outdoors all day in all weather conditions.  We work rain or shine, hot or cold.  A strong back and knees are essential. 
  
• Must be able to maintain a reasonably positive attitude at the end of a long, hot, hard day. 
  
• Must be reliable, punctual, quick, and industrious.
• This is not an 'internship.'  I need workers, not students.  However, a quick learner may be able to pick up quite a bit about small-scale organic farming.
