Produce

Picture
All of my produce is grown adhering to or surpassing USDA Organic standards.  The varieties I grow are chosen for their eating quality and ability to withstand organic field conditions, not for shipping ability or shelf life.  Everything is harvested at it's peak, as close to marketing it as possible to provide the freshest possible food.  All produce is carefully culled, sorted, and cleaned to bring you only the finest quality.

Below are the main crops I grow, and roughly when they are harvested.  I grow 40-50 different produce crops, of 100 or more varieties.  There's something for everyone!

Within a season, not all items are always available every week, or available at the same time.   (I try to spread the love, and I'm only one woman.)  Some fairly popular crops have a very short or limited harvest season in this climate (think broccoli and peas).  All times are estimates, and all crops are highly dependent on the weather and general growing conditions.

Organic fruit is in high demand.  I know.  I'm working on it.  Fruit takes time, and this is still a "young" farm.  The trees, canes, vines, and bushes that fruit is harvested from take many years to mature and produce, as opposed to an annual vegetable plant that only takes a few months.  Patience is a virtue!
