Midtown market-goers - did you know that there are only six more Saturdays left to shop before the farmers market is closed for the winter?  And we're only just getting started harvesting the cool-season veggies!

I am accepting new CSA memberships now for a Winter CSA program.  Shares are $200, and the season will run from November through March.  I don't run a typical "box CSA," where you'd get a pre-packed box of produce each week, and no choice of what's in it.  You get to decide what you want to eat each week!  You just need to send me your orders, and I'll make a custom box just for you.  Winter vegetables are mainly roots, greens, and cabbage-family crops - there are no tomatoes growing out here in January - so if beets and kale, sweet potatoes and cabbage don't excite you, this is not really going to be your thing (we will sell new memberships for the main season early next year).  CSA members in Raleigh pick up their boxes at Zely & Ritz on Wednesdays, 4-10pm.  The restaurant is just west of downtown on South Glenwood Ave.  If you live out this way, you're also welcome to pick up your veggies here at the farm.  (We're about 15-20 minutes from Zebulon, Smithfield, eastern Clayton, or western Wilson).  You'll find details about the Winter CSA here, as well as the membership form if you're interested.  Please let me know if you have any questions.  Winter shares are only up for grabs until November 1st.

Either way, please do be sure to stop by the market again before it's all over for the year.  We're all making pies for you this Saturday!
